This weekend was a long one. Silverado played at the Barbour County Fair Friday night opening for Josh Thompson. The next day was the long trip to Romney to play at Wapacoma Campgrounds.
Here are my musings from the 2 days no particular order.
* Why has it now become OK for people to just walk in the middle of roads in fairgrounds and campgrounds and not even acknowledge there are cars on them. I cant count the times this weekend I had to stop in the middle of roads and wait for people to decide to let a car through.
*Why are Country Music "Stars" so much harder to get along with when they are new and have had one or 2 hits then after they have had a gaggle of hits.
* People who want to compliment you, but have no clue which person in the band you were, come say " You are an awesome drummer", even though you were the keyboard player.
*Stupid navigation gives you different directions coming home from a place than going to it, which take you 30 minutes longer.
* How do you forget a song you have played 1,527,958 times
* Gas is 30 cents more expensive one town and 10 miles away.
and lastly
* Why do people feel the need to downgrade something just cause they don't like it instead of just saying the good qualities of the thing(s) they like.
